Scarlet Blade - Arkana Base

Getting Started

After character creation, you start here in the Arkana Base (underground, unknown location).
"I want a hologram of my own dammit."
The big difference in this mmo is that you're not playing the Arkana but you're the
commander who controls the Arkana in battle.

Lota (for Royal Guards), the Mother A.I. that created the Arkana, here a holographic
representation. Sati will be the name for the Free knights.

The story is the same whether you play RG or FK. Just switching the enemy's name
on the quest. A bit lazy on the developers side, but hey, it's free to play (or it's suppose
to be).

You can tell she has a lot of questions in her mind.

"No we're not.
You're more dressed than I am."

Next you get your weapon for your class.

"It's also my job to not care afterwards."

"Ok, will you please stop staring at me now?"

You then use said weapon to kill stuff.

"Bzzz, we are created to be destroyed. Bzzz."

After that, you are ready to go up the surface.

"I'm not letting off my meds, if that's what you're saying."

A glimpse of the Arkana Base, You won't be able to go back to this place anymore.
No matter how much you beg or cry.

It's nice of Lota to see you off to your doom.
"Beam me up, Scottina!"

A lot of people are accusing this game as pay-to-win, I do agree. But so does every
other mmo's nowadays. Other subscription based games are starting to go to the
free-to-play route, which I'm guessing is much more profitable?
(Why would they chance their business model?)

You can go full f2p, it's just much harder and requires more work. Buying stuff is
just suppose to gear you up faster, which is why you see Aeria Games montly tiers is
filled with rare and unique gears.

But Aeria Games is turning around. It has become a little better. Problems still plague
this game, some exist since Alpha. But overall it shows a sign of improvements.

Play for free with free bike and pet at lvl 10(they're crappy though).Or you can opt
to get a better pet, it's free with the exp boost in the 69 AP store. The best thing is to
get the pet+exp boost and the skill reset code in the store. It's a 2 dollar investment.
Go join a guild, there are a lot of shouts inviting newbies. Then just go from there.

(So you still need to pay something in a f2p game, you said. That is bullshit!)
(Well, you need a computer, internet and electricity to play any game.
And I doubt they're free.)

The important thing in mmo games is to have fun. Yes, even if your 20+guild members
gets wiped out by 5 OP players. Go PVE and do quest with your friends, or go PVP
and coordinate your attacks. Make use of conjoint stun locks and there's no way you
won't be able to take down even a few OPs.

The 69 AP store.
Nothing suggestive in that.

Scarlet Blade Class Selection

I've been playing this game for more than a year, and it really isn't that bad. There
are problems and glitches in the game and imbalance on PVP battles, but what other
MMOs' doesn't have those? (I played C9 and Aura Kingdom, they too have
balance issues.)

I have my thoughts on this game before so I'm not gonna delved on it. What I will
do is to show you pics of the game cause I like pics.

I also like girls in skimpy armor.

I think it should have been
"Choose Your Destiny".
Royal Guards or Free Knights?  A lot of players choose the Free Knights or FK because
of the colors and background story about being the rebel and talks of freedom and rights.

But really, it's all about the colors.

Royal Guards or RG are all about order. But to some people, they're like the government.
Always wanting to control and saying this is for the better.

Really there isn't any different. Each faction did shoddy stuff to achieve their goals.
So either one of them is good or bad. Or both.

Defender, big on EVERYTHING.
Defender, melee type. Very hard to hit a running target but can take a lot of damage.

Goth chick, Oh yeah!!!
ShadowWalker, melee dps. Conseal, conseal, conseal.

The Arkana who clearly hates clothes.
Whipper, mid-range melee AOE. Put everything on HP and DEF, throw yourself at the
center, and fire away.

Either Frank Castle's long lost sister,
or he undergoes some kind of surgery.
Punisher, long-range hard hitter. Slow but powerful, and keep your distance.

"I use to be a fish."
Sentinel, long-range fast dps. Hit and Run.

"Heal or no heal, it's my decision.
So suck it!!"
Medic, slow dps (obviously, healing is their forte). Hard to build, either full heal or
full buff, or combination. Attack medic or support medic? Players choice.

"Whether you think I'm a man or a woman, I don't care.
I can swing both ways."
Cyberblade, melee dps (like ShadowWalker, abeit a little faster). Jack-of-all trade,
master of none. Also the only selectable guy.

Pre-build for those lazy players.
I choose the Defender for this because....SHE'S BIG ON EVERYTHING!!!

Sadly, not your starting lingerie.
These are just previews of the armor and lingerie you can get in the game.

Change your face from pretty to pretty.
Few options are available, but they are clones anyway. Have you see the troopers
of Star Wars: Clone Wars?

Every class should have shades!

Scarlet Blade Online is not a bad game if you get pass the obvious trapping. Yes it
uses the female form to entice you, but it's also a competent game. The nudity is just
a bonus, the meat is in PVP anyway. Sure you may never beat anyONE, but you
got your faction on your back and that's what it's suppose to be.

  Or you can just kill-steal.

Leina Vance (Revoltech)
Queen's Blade series
by Kaiyodo

The first Queen's Blade articulated figure, and probably the first cast-off articulated
figure. It's not perfect (she has two holes in her tummy), but if you want Queen's Blade
action figures, Revoltech is the cheap alternative (unlike Furu Puni!).

A piece of Assemble Borg was included. I didn't know what I got since I did not open it.
Assemble Borg are apparently Kaiyodo's version of Marvel's Build-A-Figure lines. They're
spread across different figures.

Wish Figma have character's name on their stand.

Aw, just a little more and we can see it.

Scabbard, something that MegaHouse forgot.

Early products always have lackluster accessories.
Official seal - a necessity when buying.
